Privacy policy

When you book a detail online we collect what the booking needs: your name, mobile number, the address where the car will be, the package, vehicle size and anything you add about the vehicle or the visit. If you call, text or email instead, we get your number or email and what you tell us.

We keep a simple record of your visits (date, service, amount paid and any rewards used) so we can remind you when your next detail is due and keep track of your rewards. If a friend's link brought you, we note who sent you so they get their reward; they only see that it was earned, never your details.

Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, for security. To stop spam, the booking page counts requests from each IP address for a short time; the address is scrambled (hashed) before it's stored.

• To keep the site secure and working

Jude texts you from his own phone to confirm your booking, remind you the day before and follow up after. Reply STOP or tell him, and he won't text you again except about a booking you make.

Vercel (website hosting), Upstash (the booking database) and, for booking alerts to Jude, Resend (email). Google Analytics is used only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner; it never receives your name, number or address. A browser's Global Privacy Control signal is treated as “Decline”.

We don't sell or share your information for advertising.

We keep your client record while you're a client. Email judesautodetailing@gmail.com or text (248) 989-5343 to see, correct or delete it, and we'll do it within 30 days.

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

When we update this policy we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
